Today you are starting to wake up more. You kept wanting to get up, and you looked at me and daddy. We have to keep putting you on medicine to help you forget about what is going on because you hate the tube down your throat! Everyone is really worried about one of your toes on your left foot. It doesn't have very good blood flow, so it is turning purple. There is a chance that that toe will die, and we would have to take it off. Doctors keep saying that now we just are waiting to see what your body does. Mommy and Daddy are not scared about your toe though because we know what a brave and strong girl you are, and no matter what happens you will be with us and that is all that matters.

hey jessica! this is erin your old roomie. i just heard about your little girl from ann. she is so beautiful! i'm so sorry you are going through this. your beautiful family is in our thoughts and prayers.
ReplyDeleteI have no clue what to say other than don't give up on your little girl. I know you won't, but I just want to say it... give you added strength if that makes any sense.
ReplyDeleteIf it helps, my nephew - Joey - was born three months premature, the doctor's told us he wouldn't survive and if he did he wouldn't be able to walk, talk, hear, see, etc.... He's now eight years old and can do all those things. Things will get better. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Jerry & Jessica,
ReplyDeleteI heard about Genesis from my mother-in-law who is in your ward. I have spread the word around Kearney 2nd ward and we are all praying for your family and a lot of us are fasting for your family today. We love you guys and hope everything turns out.
Love your old neighbors,
Cody and Teri Fry
